    Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)/Day Treatment

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)/Day Treatment is a highly structured, full-day treatment program for adults with alcohol and drug addiction. Many patients enter PHP immediately following detox. PHP allows individuals to focus on their recovery and on developing a recovery support system, while building the skills needed to live successfully in sobriety. PHP allows patients to live at home and is an alternative to residential or inpatient treatment.

    Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

AARC's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) may be an entry point for addiction treatment or a step down from our Partial Hospitalization Program. In IOP, patients receive one-on-one and group therapy, counseling and support while having the opportunity to work or volunteer in the community. Individuals in IOP begin implementing new skills while continuing to process their experience and strengthen their recovery in a therapeutic and supportive environment. After successfully completing IOP, patients can continue to receive treatment through our outpatient services.

    Family Program

Our therapists and counselors are a guiding force for helping patients integrate back into areas of their lives in which their behavior may have left a destructive trail, including work and personal relationships. Part of that process involves consulting with the families of patients about what treatment options may be best suited for remedying the condition of their loved one. Atlanta Addiction Recovery Center's counselors work closely with patients and families to identify relapse triggers, to educate the family members about the psychological and social contributors to addiction and provide support as families work through these issues.
